Kim Whalen, Amherst Chamber of Commerce

Kim spoke to us on how the Chamber is "Not your Grandfathers Chamber". She presented the Chamber happenings and services that are available to all Chamber members. An important aspect of the Amherst Chamber, it is the only chamber that offers their own in house insurance agent that can assist members with health insurance benefits, together with other insurance products. Further Benefits to members are Business After Hours events, great for networking, numerous councils and committees, electronic newsletters, and an at home business council that is being started this year to address the needs of those members who work from home.
