Rotary Speaker, Capt. Stephen McGonnagle - Amherst Police Department

Capt. McGonnagle has been a police officer for 26 years at the ranks of patrolman, lieutenant and captain. Currently, I am a part of the administration responsible for the patrol division (3-11 shift) and all 911 communication operations. I hold BS and MS degrees from Buffalo State College and Boston University respectively, and I'm also an adjunct professor in criminal justice at Buff State. He spoke in detail about the state of the Amherst Police Department. He also talked about some of his personal experiences as a police officer.
